The Cartan 2 carbon fiber is lighter, more powerful, and more sustainable than the previous generation of carbon fiber. It is also more efficient, using less material and resin to achieve the same level of stiffness and strength. This results in a smaller ecological footprint for the board.

The Fusion 6th generation also features The GreenPoxy, an epoxy resin with 35% of its molecular structure derived from plants. This resin is more sustainable than traditional epoxy resins and does not compromise the performance of the board.

In addition, the switch to Cartan 2 has resulted in a reduction of cutting waste by up to 80%. This means that less material is wasted during the manufacturing process, further reducing the environmental impact of the board.
